Actually, I just read a couple threads about it.
This only seems to be happening to 2004 GTP'*.
But when I install this, if I experience ANY problems at all, or if I am running too rich with too much timing, the PCM is gone.

Most of the problems have been happening on the '04'*, but they have been happening on the older ones as well. I took a quick look and didn't find anything talking about it, but I've read the threads before. I just think I would be very cautious, and if something doesn't seem right, it probably isnt. I hope you have good luck with it. But, as I said before, a scantool is your best friend, hold on on some of you next mods and get a scantool instead. Better safe than sorry...with ANY PCM.

Thankfully my dad owns a shop, and has a really nice Tech II scanner. Top of the line. I can drive around and take readings from that and go from there.

Word up.... I learned that the hard way. I didn't switch the KS module when I put in my junkyard PCM. I ordered an INTENSE unit too..... can't beat that sale!

It'* installed now. Took me a little while. The hardest part was pulling off the dam Thrasher airbox. That thing is a royal pain. But the install went well, I did it in the campus parking lot.
I let it idle for about 5 minutes, and let things warm up. Then I drove it around really easy, crusing between 40 and 60 mph. The gas milage so far has not been affected. I am still getting over 30MPG at 60 mph. After crusing for about 20 minutes or so, I decided to finally get on the gas.
At half throttle, there was good pickup.
At full throttle .... damn!
It shifts at 6000 RPM, and it pulls very ... very ... hard. I'm lovin it! When I go home in a couple weeks, my dad and I are going to scan it, and check all the various air and fuel readings.
