Default HV3 High velocity intake insert

Does anyone know if these things work? Does anyone have one installed?

There were before/after dynos floating around on CGP for the HV3.
Compared to the HVII the peak hp is shifted a few hundred rpm to the left and it seemed to pick up some mid-range
So, it is more lowend/midrange friendly than its previous generation.
I still wouldn't recommend it before opening up the exhaust (pems and high flow cat) and do something to the valvetrain (cam or rockers). Othewise your not really taking full advantage of it.
