6781camaro, these days, a "Chip" and a "PCM" are basically the same thing. 95 and older cars have a PCM with a removable PROM (memory) chip that you could reprogram to change... well, all kinds of stuff. These days, the removable PROM chip is gone and so the whole PCM needs to be reprogrammed. The end effect is the same.

i have the same setup and im doing a top swap over summer..if i would keep it N/A i would do PCM, T-Stat, possibly TB, downpipe and highflow cat, rockers, and valve springs. she would puuuuur then and most of the installation is easy except for springs (take heads apart) and exhaust would prolly have to be done by a professional.
