Default How to find right parts

I hope this isnt a really dumbass question but ever since I started looking for anything performance wise for my car Ive always had problems. It seems 98% of places either dont carry parts for a 94 Bonneville SSEi or they dont know if they have parts that will fit. How or where do I search for parts that will fit my car?

Let'* change the question for you.

Tell us what you're looking for. It would take me a year to post a list of parts and sources. Rather than see what'* out there and start buying stuff, you're better off being goal-oriented FIRST, then ask about SPECIFIC parts.

Performance Chips
Headers
Rockers
Plugs
Lighter Valve covers (I know this isnt performance but it still helps)
anything else that would help/be smart.

1. GM Tuners (Sinister Performance).
2. Nowhere, and you don't need them. Your manifolds mimic headers very well. Far superior to the S2 or any other GM V6 FWD manifold ever made.
3. INTENSE or ZZP
4. Your local parts store.
5. Helps WHAT? I don't get the logic or reason behind that request. Your current covers weight nothing more than a few ounces.

I havent had the chance to take off my VC'* yet so I guess I just assumed they were generally heavy and could use some weight reduction

they're very light. even if they were solid lead, you wouldn't make up enough weight to gain anything.

I know the VC'* alone wouldnt do much at all but its always a start in making your car lighter

If you want to shed weight, don't do it over your traction wheels. Do it in the rear. You'd gain more by running your seat all the way forward (you're thinking backwards).

SERIES 2 rockers will NOT work on your car.

Click on my mod list in my signature. Each line is a link. It'* somewhat out of date for the last 4 months of work, but you'll get the idea.
