Default I'm on My Way Baby!!!

My first real performance mod happend today people!

Thats right! I added my 180 t-stat!

It was kind of a crazy time puttin it in (i don't do much engine work), but the engine is running a lot cooler and temps are staying well below 200.

I can kind of feel the difference, but maybe thats just because I flushed the coolant and it had just rained (lots of humidity).

Performance wise, it won't make your car go faster or anything, just to keep your car running cooler thus a benifit for the engine.

Yeah I know the t-stat doesnt really make a difference performance wise, but just the fact that I changed and updated my car makes it feel a bit faster.

And the Brand I used was Robertshaw Generation2 Thermostat

comes with a lifetime warranty too

Thats right I only have a little over 27k miles on a 92 bonnie!!!!! But it sat in my Grandpa'* garage for a while, so there are some problems (mostly cosmetic). However I do need to replace the throttle positioning sensor.

I could also probably sell my car pretty easily if I repared the dents.

But for now I'm thinking of a CAI or at least a custom intake.

Typically when a car is that old (year-wise) and it has sat for a while, you'll find that certain items will break on you. Try to keep on top of maintenance and you will be OK

Have fun with the mods ...27K...wow
