Ok i did a search, but i guess i suck at life because i could not find anything. Anyways at our local pull-a-part they have a 94 I belive Park ave with a 3800 */c. Now it still has the CV axels and a complete motor. Minus the harmonic balancer. I can get the complete motor and engine wiring for $170. It has 147k and when I pull the front vavle cover everything was nice and clean.

So the question at hand, what will it take to drop this baby in my 91 LeSabre.

you'll want the complete dropout to make it easiest.

Engine
Tranny
Wiring
PCM
Axles
Fuel pump
Subframe
Front Suspension

The last two could be done without, but if you get everything together, you can drop your front suspension and subframe and bolt this in. (still would have wiring and a bunch of connectivity things to work out, but that will physically fit. )

Your post headline is a bit misleading...from reading it, I was thinking you wanted to convert an LN3, not replace it altogether

Keep in mind that the 94-95 is a hybrid OBD system. In addition to the engine harness and PCM, you will need the firewall side of the harness, complete with OBD2 connector (which doesn't even use OBD2). You will also need to modify the passenger side frame rail (I think) to accept the torque axis mount.

I got to go back and see if the wiring is still on the fire wall. But the firewall to engine wiring is cut.

90 and 91 had the provisions for it, but previous years didn't.

If the RPO codes say FE2, get the 4 springs, both swaybars, and the strut bar too. Looks like you have good prices. After that, you just need rear ELC gas/air shocks with manual fill.

You need the engine, trans, PCM, wiring harness, (new HB) and both axles. At a bare minimum.

FE2 you say. I went over their before I read your post. But the the park ave does have active front suspension ( saw the cut connector on top of the strut),rear air shocks, and a front a front strut bar. Since my money is not work right, i plan on getting the motor and trans. Then come back and get the subfram. The motor and trans are on top of the list. I don't want anybody else to get that. The gas tank is gone also. Pull-a-part also cut the wire harness at the fire wall. :( The trans cooler is also kind of beat up too. I might as well not get the warranty since its going to take me more than 30 days to get it in. This is something i really want do. I pray that my wagon does not give up on me 200k+, and that my water pump does not go out on my grand am 80k(2.4 twincam= PITA).

Also I see that someone took all the harmonic balances off pretty much all the 3800s

Picture of the project
The car now has a hole on the windshield from a shotgun, don't ask

You'll want a new HB anyway. Plan on 75-100 bucks.
