104 plugs ... WRONG !
Just a quick post to tell others. Going on a past thread I installed Autolite 104 plugs ( gapped at .055 ) after my mods.
SEVERAL members stated that this may be too cold of a plug. Being the hard head that I am I forged ahead.
To make a long story short, I'm pulling them out this weekend and installing a set of 605'*.
I get cold misfires. While they have not been in long enough to foul they do have a dark grey tint to them after about 500 miles.
They work great when warm. I just can't take the cold weather start up compromise.
Just trying to prevent others from urinating away money for no reason. It pays to listen.
It cost to be a hard head.
