Ya, it probably is motor mounts. When I've gone to park sometimes I will slow down come to a stop and the car will seem to continue to move even while on brakes LOL. I know that at least happened to my car before the new transmission, we will see how this new one reacts, I've not driven it much! Had it in the shop for 3 weeks, then did header install for a week (ya im slow).

I'll betcha money it isn't mounts, a dipstick tube or a mechanical issue.
The W body has much less room in many places than the H body. If you haven't already done so, flip your sway bar over. When you put the car in reverse and throttle it a little, the dogbones do allow a little movement. This movement will typically allow a little rub between the swaybar and exhaust.
I'm running a 3" DP on my Regal with poly mounts, a flipped sway and I can still get a little rubbin from it if the proper throttle is applied.
Flipping the sway allows for extra room and typically corrects the issue.

I've done 3-4 installs of SD'* and had one that was rubbin. The O2 is much more of a potential issue, but you said you took care of that. It'* pretty tight up there.
A lot of beating...lol
In reverse...this one is going to possibly rub
Flipped the sway while the subframe was out for a trans swap BTW. This is the flipped amount of room.

Maybe I need to beat in the firewall just a tad more and see if I can give more clearance, however I sat for an hour or so with air gun on 90psi beating away at it, worked great and was able to basically chizel away @ the firewall. It could be trans dipstick, as my stock one actually fits with the speed daddy headers. Did the trans dipstick for your installs Billboost? I didn't have to bend it and it has some clearance around my headers. The problem I think is that if engine rotates a bit that this could be issue?

When looking closer at your images Billboost, I notice that the O2 sensor has a bit more room then mine. I will probably try to give the O2 more clearance and see if that sums up the issue. For the time being though I'm going to leave it as is, worst case scenario I need a new front O2 sensor, which I think I will end up replacing in spring time and bash sthe crap in for good. Like I stated before, its only when really getting on it in reverse when it actually makes contact (I think its O2). SO as long as I don't do that I should be good
