Intake runners for the L36 won't work for an L27.

yes the PCM may not like it, Yes I have a CAI, and the box should be done easter weekend when i'm home.

Right now, It'* a tossup for the Jet Stage 2, or a Custom Burned one, from who? Not sure yet.

Right now a cam is looking better then a rocker set.

13 seconds!?! Damn I wish! Yes i'm lighter then other cars here, but i doubt 13'* will come from this. 13'* @ bonniefest means i have to get a helmet, and strap the battery down... :?

even if you could get 250hp+ that would be sweet.

250HP is an attainable goal, without touching rods/pistons, IMO. I'm trying to make a nice N/A motor, no spray, or boost. Breaking into 14'* sounds like a possibilty right now, but i'm not worried about #'*.

The parts are coming from a 93 L27. I'm getting the entire engine cheap. So the parts will be modded and added at once. I may be willing to do work for others once i've tested and proven my components. Getting on the dyno before all of this, at school, is something i'll try to get done, for some base power levels, so I can measure the total gains.

I like your style, NA ALL THE WAY! Once you tear the engine down for the cam you might want to replace some of the pistons and stuff to raise your compression and maybe an overbore.

Everything that has been speced is @ the top of factory spec, or better. Never had one hiccup. There'* a reason i held off on my first big power mod (intake) till recently. Wanted to make sure through and through she was ready.

Bottom end means machining, new pistons, etc... That'll happen whenever she goes kaput. Hopefully in double digit years from now. I'm not a high milage driver at all.

If i did do it, i'm looking at more then double the cost of this project. Right now, this'll run about $500 before it'* all said and done. This is a non-custom cam (hopefully) chip, gaskets, and parts. Anything else I would need would be the bits for P&P, and some other assorted tools. This is my tax return here, and some various funds.

Good luck with the cam, look for good thin head gaskets may give you a little more compression to squeze those pistons

Just so you know Wes Blair'* GT (#1 NA 3800) put down 218whp at the dyno. His best run is 13.3 in the 1/4 and he is heavily modified. Not saying anything here, just giving you a comparison.
