Posting here due to the benefit for performance.

Katie and I headed over to FIE (about 15 minutes from me) to help Chris get out from underneath some of his backlog, put a matched set together for PeterG, and re-flow the Zilla'* injectors again for a health checkup.

Katie kept Aleaha occupied for us while we worked ( http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=57008 ) and while she napped, Katie went down and had some fun with the horses, goats, and Llama.

All told, we cleaned and tested 24 injectors that JimmyFloyd sent, re-flowed mine, and re-flowed the last 6 that were left in the S1 L67 pool.

All injectors are coded and numbered by who donated them and given a serial number. Any member can figure out where theirs came from by figuring it out. These two are obvious:

IIRC, there are two more sets ready to go now at 0.4% for the Series 1 L67 (a phenomenal low matched number) which could go to 0% easily with another set of 6.. I'll know more numbers shortly when FIE emails me the spreadsheet for the other drivetrain'* pool inventory numbers. Two of today'* new injectors we worked over were DOA. Some of the older pool injectors were also.

All the injectors you see here will get new spacers, pintle caps, filters, and o-rings before they go out the door, not to mention being re-blacked. Peter will take pics of his when he gets them.

Wow, interesting operation going on there! I'm still getting around to getting flow-matched injectors...

I've got a set to send in.

Keep in mind that in your car, all 6 don't run at exactly the same moment. They won't be as loud as this.

Chris personally designed and built this entire setup. He provides alot of other related services. Dragster blower fuel nozzles (these suckers are damn near wide-open tubes), magneto service, etc.

Now that his garage is repaired from being cut in half ( http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=68365 ) I'll probably be going back out to his place to help him move all his equipment back to the shop. It'* currently downstairs in a spare room (carpet ripped out due to the nasty chemicals involved here).

Thanks Will, for showing us the process for flow matching and cleaning. This is very interesting and feel like I have learned a good amount of new information from you post.

He'* done quite a few sets for members here since then.

It'* amazing how complicated his setup really is. It'* very difficult to do this and insure a documented perfect match on each injector. He literally has thousands of dollars and thousands of hours invested in the equipment alone, and is constantly improving it.

He has different setups for flowing, cleaning, etc. And he sets the test pressures to OEM specs for our setups for flowing. To a fraction of a PSI.

Looks like my injectors are turning out good. Especially considering what they looked like when I sent them out... I am glad Peter got a perfect set. I am contemplating getting one of my other sets for myself, but just can't see spending the money just yet. I will send more injectors as I get them. I have a set of 4 from a 94 L67 that I am waiting to send when I am ready.

If he needs any other injectors, let me know and I'll keep an eye out for specific ones if he needs more than just Bonnevilles.

I'll know soon when I see the inventory.

He has each injectors data on one line with the serial number. As that injector becomes a member of a 'set' that line is highlighted in a specific color for the new owner. So by simply looking at all the injectors with data that are not highlighted, I can see what'* left in the pool.

Keep in mind the pool is intended to 'buffer' your set (you already sent a bunch though, Geoff). The pool helps to complete a good matched set by providing injectors to replace any outliers in a member'* 6 that they send in.
