What a difference!

Long story short, My old 93 PA, which i've had 2 years now, came with the stock suspension. I read about the uplevel suspension and ordered the parts I needed. Front sway bar was easy as its a pretty common bar. Rear cargos made a huge difference, the rear end was like stronger and brand new! ELC was disabled, so I installed new air struts, and got it working again (still need the clips for the air lines, but they're still holdin, lol). Installed new struts and the better springs (i could not see the difference, but new springs are definitly better than old 13 yr old ones). I also installed the blue links and bushings on the front end as well.

I also got badly rotted subframe mounts, bushings, the upper steel mount washers, and even the subframe rusted away in some parts arounds the mounts. Did em all just before christmas, and wow, it was like driving a new car! 300 dollars poorer just for the parts though, holy (they are NOT cheap! :O )

I had a lot of problems finding a swaybay mostly because there seemed none avalible within my areas. Waited a year until I splurged the extra $$ for a 21 mil bar, lol. Called the dealer about center links and the bushings. Turns out the bushings are 7 dollars a piece (4 of em) and the center links are 30 each!
The junkyard bar also included bushings and center links as well, Didn't need the centerlinks though, the old ones on the car were good enough to use! A little dielectric grease on the bushings, and she went in!
Since I could not find red or blue polyurethane end bushings for this car, I decided on another idea. Someone gave me a package of red polyurethane bushings free, and I bought a link-kit with poly bushings for an *-10 for 10 bucks, and stuck the bushings in my car!

Just alinged it yesterday myself, and man, do I have a sweet handling car. Not bad for a old 93 PA, with near 380,000 kms clocked on her, ha! It'* even got soft BF. Goodrich Winter slaloms 215/70 r15 tires. Imagine what it'll do once I get some nice summer rubber and rims on her!

I guess that wasn't a long story short, but oh well. I even compared the 2 swaybars, and jeez, the factory bar seems really flimsy, ha! Anyways, I also thought that if this is a much more decent suspension compared to the flimsy FE1 swap I drove in my old LeSabre years ago!

Great to hear. I had a his and her pair of PA'* for many years and loved the ride and comfort. 91 and a 92. Out of all the cars I've owned, my butt felt better after a straight 500 miles than any other, including my GXP.
