Default Rear Discs on a '97

I was looking at our 2000 bonnie today and it got me wondering...How hard/expensive would it be to replace the drum brakes on the rear wheels of my '97 with the disc brakes from a newer model Bonneville or simular Pontiac. Would this be cost effective or should I just get bigger discs for my front after i get rims (hopefully this summer).

Having a kit made for my 95 will be glad to have one made for the 97.

My original price is a bit high for this crowd so I will make a cheaper kit to just convert to disks in the rear. This will also solve the disk "warp" issues often found with poor quality rear adjusters.

If the price is right I might be interested in rear discs for a 97 as well

What kind of price range are you talking about? I figure that just stock quality discs would give even better stopping power than the factory drums, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Yes the stock rear disks from a 2000 Bonneville or other related GM would be better. Once I get it figured out I will have a insured production company make it for us so it can go to market.

The kit can be done any time someone is ready but it will require us to acquire a car and then build the kit and finally test it. So if you buy a kit it will be made. It will take awhile to get made so I will try and set aside enough time with the builder to make it happen. Just let me know that you are serious and I will start setting it up. Once I have a time line I will need full payment and I will have it built.
