Fender Wall Intake.

I've got a 99 and it is different for me. The 00+ has more protection for the filter than the earlier body styles

basically yes. if i were you, i would get a full intake. like this



you should put a heat shield around it. hot air=bad

theres an intake kit on 3800performance.com i was thinking about maybe purchasing that do u think its worth it?

mine right now is. im going to remake a box for it, with either the same material that i wrapped the pipe in or plexiglass. just gotta get motivated

That kit you posted is one option. the same thing can be done with a K&N drop in filter and gutting your current box.

Saves a little for another mod

I do not have a pic of the guttage in process....however, I would like to see first hand again ...this time on my ride if possible. <wink wink>
