Ya most people either just dont respond to posts because they are gay or have their version of a CAI which is a K&N without the air resistor. That wont do it for me and Ive found some quiet intersesting CAI designs just by looking at various threads. I do give the Bonneville club props for ppl responding to posts and ingeniuty of things, our club has lately sucked balls. Its gettin boring and old. So ya back to CAI. I will mesure my TB tomarow for yall but ppl with the custom stuff i still havent seen respond except for the Admin guy. I thought I saw someone run dryer duct to both sides of the radiator to like the grille. How in god did u do that, thats ingenious and thats the sorta thing im looking for. Thanx to all that are helping

As soon as I can I will get some pictures of my custom CAI I've been working on. Used a roof flashing (black plastic) and some plexi...fits perfectly, looks very nice, and effective and inexpensive. It'* not quite done, been extremely busy lately, but I should have it finished soon, and I'll post some directions and parts needed for those interested.

GT2, check Techinfo. There'* some articles there regarding intakes. You want cold, non-turbulent air. Here'* another ram-air setup (coined 'willram' by a member here):

(initial project post)
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=16005
(blow by blow construction and testing)
If you look carefully, you'll see the scoops down under the front airdam. One side rams the CAI, the other cools the Supercharger. Very effective. Test results are in the second link above.
And let me add that you're more than welcome here
If you get treated like dirt over there, and come here looking for respect, you will get it.
I admire you. Most people wouldn't have the guts to 'cross over' like you did, considering what most other forums are like. Welcome to BC!

Thanx Uhh I dont get on TCCA much mainly because we get topics like "OMG my girlfriends is pregnant!!!" Its like wow this is a car forum dont come here for pity. Anyway I do like the fact that people actrully get things done here and people are obstanant on many things. And that they try alot of stuff. Its realy nice to find normal people that do a mod and then go cruise around and try it out. Alot of the ppl on TCCA are like parents and wont do mods because its their daily driver and refuse to mod anything just keep it bone stock.
Ya back to the CAI:
I read both those threads and its alot and I get alot more of how yall do it for the 94ish GEN Bonneville. But willwren what did u use for raw material and where did u get it and also ive seen some weird looking brackets, are u making them or just finding stuff in Home Depot or related store and making it work?

Wow, your TB is in the back?!?!?! Your going to have bends any way you look at it. And the battery is not in a great spot either. You may want to look at the light weight battery from www.intense-racing.com that may give you some more room to get to the fender for a FWI.
