Default gotta list together

alright guys, i'm gonna possibly be comin into some money here pretty soon and figured id make a list. i don't wanna get to crazy w/ this car as it is a daily driver plus the fact that i wanna get either a GN or an '03-'04 Cobra when i get outta school. so i compiled a list that i think will bring the car where i want it and also improve drivability; the car has 109K. and the following:
no cat
magnaflow mufler
3.4 pulley
104'*
8mm taylors
open end filter
1.9:1 rockers

My List:
Pacesetter headers(ceramic coated)
ZZP ported TB
ZZP TB spacer
ZZP 1.0 PCM
ZZP modular pulley(3.2-3.25)
105#springs & retainers(stockers now)
MSD coils
MSD wires
W-body shift kit
big tranny cooler
(maybe alcohol inj w/ a 3.0-3.1pulley)

with the car running 14.09 @ 98.81 now, i think that w/o alky it would be fair to say 13.3-13.5 is about right. w/ alky and a 3.0-3.1 who knows maybe 13.0? i dunno
thoughts anyone? GOOD suggestions?

Taylor wires are not really well liked here. In fact, they're garbage.
Get Belden Premiums instead. They power more of the top 25 cars here than any other brand.

Don't lose the cat. You'll lose some low end, and it'* illegal to run without. Get a Hi-Flow cat.

Instead of the filter, get an INTENSE FWI.

ZZP TB spacer is of no benefit to performance whatsoever. Save your money.

:? oh, well okay. i'll take your word for it on the wires. however on the TB i've gotta close friend that has taken his '01 GTP through every stage of mod from stock to now turbo and he was sayin that when i get to this territory that it'* not a bad idea to get one. does the ZZP not do well on the L67'*? any takes on the alky? i don't think it'* been done to a bonneville yet but done right i think there could be a lot to gain from it.

TB spacers do not work on a supercharged vehicle. Spacers are actually meant to be used on TBI cars, as they help mix the air and fuel together for better combustion. Plus a spacer would have no effect on a supercharged vehicle, because the air it twists is getting compressed by the supercharger, therefore canceling the TB spacers job.

Alky injection? No bonneville has it yet?

I built the first system on this Forum from scratch over 5 years ago. Both myself and 2000SilverBullet have it.

You won't gain much or anything from the MSD coils. I got them cause I was shot gunning parts at my car trying to trouble shoot at the time. But I did find the throttle response to seem a tad faster

Keep the cat for the reasons Willwren said. The TB spacer is just a waste, The filament of Pacesetter headers is unknown on the Bonneville right now.

okay so i've been talked outa the tb spacer. i've immidiately got ridof the cat in this car because my trap saw a nice little jump even in the 1/8 w/ my '96. as far as the coils, i dunno about them. yeah, so wilwren, how about you tell me how to get a hold of an alky kit or how much will you charge for one?

I don't make them for members, and I don't sell product for profit.

My best advice to you is to search the internet and make your own choice based on your own investigations and learning. I'm serious about that. Even the Bullet and I don't see things the same with it. Don't expect extraordinary performance gains from it though. You'd be better served with an intercooler.

yeah, i dunno about not getting much from it though. i've seen how much of a diffference it makes in ic'd cars and it'* pretty impressive. alkycontrol makes a kit for the reagal GS and gp GTP. i imagine that'll do. i don't wanna get too nutty though because at this point i'll be at the threshhold of the trannys capability.

I'm putting considerably more torque to the ground at a lower RPM than you, and my trans is fine. It'* the same one you have. Unless you're concerned about the age and miles on it. A rebuild can get you the strength and durability, as well as performance.

There are MANY vendors and many options on injection. Search them all, join a Forum or two, and decide what you want. Don't just jump on the first kit to come your way.
