Chip is installed!
Hey Guys,
Well the Jet Stage 2 chip is installed! SO much thanks to Allmachtige for his explanation of how to get the computer out! Worked like a charm! SO easy to install! 20 minutes tops!
I'll take her out tonight to use the "Seat Of The Pants" dyno! LOL
I'll be ACTUALLY dynoing the car again when I get my exhaust done!
Thanks guys!

Can't wait to see if you're as pleased as I was. Keep in mind it takes awhile for the stock PCM to relearn the piggyback Jet. I was still seeing new performance gains at 100+ miles! The immediate difference is obvious, but it gets better over time.

UGGGHHHH!
So I go out tonight to start up the car and it won't start! Just turns over and over and over! So I disconnect the battery for 60 seconds like Jet says to do if there is a problem. Nothing! So I disconnect the three harnesses going into the computer, again just like Jet says to do if there is a problem! Still won't start! I try a varying number of combinations of time/removal and nothing! So I put in the stock PCM and it fires right up! UGGGHHH! So I phone the shop that sold me the chip. They say to try cleaning it with a light solvent?!? He says this because it is shipped with some sort of wax to protect it?!?!? So I try that and nothing! Stock chip fires it right up! I guess I'll be taking it back tommorow! And I'll have to wait for them to order another one from the states because they are no longer available in Canada!
THIS SUCKS! I was so excited and now this! At least I can now install a chip in about five minutes! Its amazing how good you can get at something if you have to do it repetitively!

Ok, don't take this the wrong way....are you SURE you installed it correctly? It'* kinda hokey. Their diagram isn't very clear. I'd try again, very carefully before you take it back......and you DID install them BOTH, right? You should have installed the stock PCM onto the Jet. Not bashing, just making sure.

Will,
Nope! My chip was a direct replacement! It is not the piggyback style at all!
I took it into the shop and they got there guy to look at it! He couldn't get it to work either. They were being all cocky about how it was gonna work and it felt SO good when the tech couldn't start the car!
So I have to get another one ordered from the states! THIS SUCKS! I have the worst luck!

Direct replacement????? ummmmmmmmm this is a Jet STG 2? you have to install both of them to work; you need the stock chip to be piggyed on the Jet chip so your ECM /PCM can read its stock codes ( some terms like that lol ). the jet chip by itself will not, and can not run the car on its own.....its only meant for the performance end

I told him that, too. I think his might be different, but I smell a rat. Mine'* a piggyback too. The PCM'* for the 92-95 SSEi'* should be almost identical. Something isn't right here. I'd like to see a picture or scan of the chip. Is that still possible?
