Well first, that'* not your trans. You have a 4T60-HD.
And you may not need a full out race trans depending on what your goals are.
So, what engine mods are you really planning on doing?

Yeah, that trans isn't made for your car, and I imagine there would need to be some modifications just to make it fit.
May I suggest looking into either a shift kit or an overhaul with some heavier duty parts? It would be cheaper, and probably not as overkill.

The only thing i'd ever do tranny wise is install a limited slip. Then again you don't have a 65. One wheel burnouts seem to be the #1 killer of our trannies.
