Depending on the model year you'll either have a 4T60-E or 4T65-E...
You may have one of these gear ratios..
2.84
2.85
3.05
3.06 I think these are right...
Look for the F-- codes... This will be the gear ratio..

Don't compare your 7 year old car to a new one. Sub 7 0-60 wouldnt be too hard. I'd say cam w/supporting valvetrain work, PCM, and other bolt ons would get you there easily.

How do you plan to compare to a new Maxima?
It'* got more HP stock, weights the same as 3 pieces of rice on a fork.
Has no comfort, no real features (compared to our older cars that have everything) and you can't fit anything more than 3 orders of chicken fingers into it without getting cramped.

While I agree with that....
Have you by chance seen a Maxima or Altima 3.5 set the tires a blaze..... Yeah those jokers will run.......
And they are loaded like a ****
<----- Not a Nissian Fan either, but I have to give props to them...

You have a 3.05 gear ratio... Thats the Performance minded 3800 II NA gear ratio...
4T60-E had the 3.06
And 98-current has the 4T65-E with the 3.05 ratio..
Wow 3.05-3.06 what a huge diffrence
