Get some header wrap and wrap you cross-over pipe. That will keep alot of heat out from your throttle body and intake set-up.
Also, being you have a 1997 I'd suggest a tranny cooler and a 180* thermostat (it'* more of an insurance than hp, but will keep your engine in it'* max hp range by keeping the engine and tranny running cooler). Also, get some good plugs (NGK V-power, Delco platinums, etc...) and plug wires (MSD, Magnacore, Taylor, etc....).
After these and your cam and lifters/rockers get a reprogrammed chip/computer. Should have you easily stomping a bone stock SSEi.
