L67 GTP parts to a L36 Bonneville
Hi all...I have a 2000 Bonneville SE, and a 97 GTP with quite a bit of engine work done to it. Now, I'm trying to get rid of my GTP, but it is looking like I will get as much for my heads as I will get for the whole car, so I'm considering demodding and dumping off whatever is left.
If I am going to demod, I want to save as much of the good parts off the L67 as I can and put them on my new Bonneville...I know that the heads are useless going from an L67 to a L36, but I know that ZZP makes the *** kit for the L36 that would let me save my blower and possibly my LIM.
Now, that is a possibility, but I'm not sure I want to take apart a low mileage engine that is running properly and risk screwing it up by modifying it with something like a SC (especially with the higher compression of an L36).
Some other parts that I am wondering if I can save though are my PEMs and X-over. I have quite a bit of money in them (for PEMs) as I not only ported and polished them, but also header wrapped them. Now, I am pretty sure this is a direct swap, but I wanted to make sure before I start wrenching that exhaust manifolds off an L67 Grand Prix will swap over to an L36 Bonneville...there isn't a difference in how the DP fits or anything of that nature, is there? I understand the gains will be minimal, probably < 5 hp, but I would feel safer with my engine bay staying that much colder, and my exhaust being a little bit less restricted as well.
I really haven't looked into the standard mods / build sheet for an L36, but I'm thinking that I will probably do UD pulleys for my accessories, 1.8 roller rockers, PEMs and DP, intake, and DHP and finish the car at that for the time being...in anticipation of a turbo kit in the not too distant future...too bad the heads / LIM / SC aren't a direct swap.
BTW, is there anything else I should steal off my GTP when / if I demod? Injectors / fuel rails? Throttle body? Random stuff like the GMPP trailing arms / STD (if they even cross over)?
Thanks everyone!

Most everything should swap over except a few of the W-body only parts. The front manifold should bolt up(unless something changed for the 00+), the rear manifold and DP won't work. Suspension items won't work either.
Your rockers will swap over no problem. Pulley'* should swap over directly, you may want to check clearances though.
