Well, I may no be the fastest S1 right now, but I can assure you, I have plans (and $$$) for some nice mods in the near future!

Umm octane doesn't gain you any HP, unless the engine requires it (in which case you're just draggin it down with lower fuel)

TR7'* at .060? You need to read my NGK tech talk sticky. You'll have big problems with that setup.

Salmanman'* times are Gtech'd, with no track time to verify the Gtech. My experiences this summer show that the gtech is worthless unless you can back it up with track times, or use the track times and conditions to calibrate/verify the Gtech.

Not entirely true. While higher octane normally would not give you a hp advantage, race fuel (100+ octane) is usually oxygenated meaning more combustion and more HP. May not be a lot but it will be some.

With the mods in your sig, and fronting you 5whp for the pcm id say your sitting at about 230 at the wheel or about 290 crank.

Actually i said ABOUT 300 HP which wouldnt be an exact measurment.

I've owned it for 7 years, i know what it could do before and what it had, this is just an educated guess compa red to what it has now.

Do you think your ASG tranny freed up some hp to the wheels from the crank? Did you feel a difference?

i defintely felt a difference. i dont know if i could describe as exact as what you mention, but my old one was gradually going bad before it died so just getting this in was a huge difference at the time. But thinking about it, it shifts like it has a B&M shift kit in it, no hesitation between gears- it SLAMS into gear (in a good way ) the comination of the PCM and this trannny makes it feel a lot more torque'y' then it was.

YES TrueWildMan, I said Torque'y' or torqueeeeee, or torkey. not even a word let alone an exact measurement.
