Nice to see another fast L27. Question though?? Why is it that you clam to have only ran a personal best of 16.5 @ 83 on your car domain site???? 16.5 @ 83 sound more like it with the mods you have done. 15.6 @ 88 with a CAI and an empty car?? Very unlikely my friend. Must just be a typo because we all know that 5 is really close to the 6!!!! And 95 Octane Gas is not going to help you unless you are running a octane curable amount of KR.

Yeah and i would also like to know who sells 95 octane fuel??? We are really starting to get some real characters on this forum. Also for the record this post has made my day.

I think it'* okay to do a little comparison.... I have an L36 and I'd like to know why I'm getting smoked by an L27. Maybe it'* because I didn't do any weight reduction or track prep of any kind. I still find it a little hard to believe that the timing system was accurate. 15.6 seems awfully quick for a Series 1 Bonnie.
Besides Bill'* assertion that Pat used toluene, 95 octane and other high octane race gasses are commonly available at some drag strips. There'* no need to question Pat'* integrity in reference to the fuel he used. He'* not just pulling numbers out of thin air.
As far as the fastest L36 NA Bonneville, I'd be willing to guess that 95naSTA takes the cake. We have no numbers yet, but they should be coming shortly

Alright guys...... let'* cool down for a little bit. First of all, like I said, there'* no reason to question Pat'* integrity. Secondly, be careful when accusing people of using nitrous. That can be considered a pretty serious charge in performance circles. Let'* make sure we've got our facts straight before we make claims like this.
Also, be careful when calling other members "characters," especially when they're around here a lot more than you are. It'* a quick way to step on lots of toes.

wow. i haven't seen this many people trying to down talk other'* numbers (with a time slip even!!) since turtle was around. And we don't need that again. You're talking about a stand up member of the BC, who took time to post a time slip. and you're still calling BS?
Whatever.
Anyway, props to 95naSTA, who doesn't run nitrous on his system, and has pushed his L36 appreciably further than anyone else here on the BC. He may not be the fastest L36, but he will likely by far be the fastest non gp l36...
