Finally getting the CAT in!
I've had the Flowmaster 2 1/2" CAT sitting in my trunk of my '93 SE for months now 
Partly because I figured I'd wait until I got a Flowmaster muffler & put them both in at once, but mostly because of the laws here in NY that don't allow a shop to replace a good/working CAT
... If the exhaust system wasn't all welded I'da put it in the day I got it!
But, since my welding skills/equipment are non-existant, there it sat in the trunk, tormenting me!
I finally found a shop that would put it in for me, but I had to drill a hole in the existing one so that they could "legally" replace it [?!]
My question is: seeing how I still have the stock muffler [although I was duly impressed with the size of it], and considering the mods I've done [K&N CAI, 180 T stat, removed MAF screen, new plugs/wires/O2 sensor/fuel filter/PCV valve, cleaned TB & MAF sensor], should I expect to feel any gain from just the hi-flow CAT?....In other words, is the stock CAT more restrictive than the stock muffler?...And will I hear a difference?

usually the muffler is the least restrictive component in the exhaust, the exhaust manifolds are the most restrictive,then the Cat, so i would say you might just notice a bit of a difference, and it should be a little louder as well.

Well, after a day or two of driving her around, I do notice a little more power and the exhaust does sound a little better/louder

Ukie, you coming to the NEBF this coming weekend in CT. :?: Couple other people coming in from your area. You should get together with them and convoy it here with them

Jimmyfloyd and Singscounty are likely going out thrusday night. I will be going out friday morning (sometime after 9)
you should definately come out to NEBF.
