Default Launching Tips

Does anyone have launching tips for running on tracks that have a greasy stage? The track I went to seemed to have the burnout box go all the way to the starting line.

Try preloading at 3k. If you spin, try 2500. It you spin, try 2k. And so forth. When you launch, roll on the throttle the rest of the way based on the traction. First 3 runs should get you in the zone.

go around the BO box to the line. even if it means passing the tree and backing up, unless you heat 'em up before running. i honestly dont see an advantage to preloading, but ive never tried it

What he said. Avoid the water box and dont do burn outs with street tires, you'll just waste tread and probably lose traction.
It'* trial and error until you get a method that works.

Try not to spin them at all because you don't wanna frag your tranny'* differential in the middle of the track.

You can give them a quick spin (one or two revolutions of the tires) to clean off the crap on them if you think you need it, but don't heat up street rubber.
