Default brother issues

okay i got the bonny and my bro has done so much to his car and well i guess he dont wanna tell me anything he did dualz with his but he says he doesnt really need back pressure since he has so much hp so he runs straight pipez to the back but he said that if i wanted my hp back i would have to go with a rezignator

A resonator has no restriction, and therefore has no effect whatsoever on backpressure. Your brother is wrong. Might be a tough pill to swallow, but it'* true. The 3800 is a unique animal.

he was talking about his i think 1996 vortec 350 chevy step side he messed with the exhuast so many times just to get it right my dad on the other hand thinks V6'* are nothing but **** and i beleiv ehim on some things like cubic inches on the engine mean everything he just likes old cars and v8'* he beleives nothing in v6 or inline 5 etc. hes remodeling a 1969 Nova trying to find the money for a 572 but it may take him awhile my brothers got good jobs hes got his ASE master mechanic stuff along with my dad i jsut wish i was as smart as them so what am i gonna have to do to get that back pressure back its very noticeable and last night i ran into this girl who has a 2003 grandam GT and i walked her #$$ and when i pulled over to talk to her about it i asked if she had exhuast she said yes and i asked do u feel loss of power she said pretty clearly yesss!! so now idk really what to do

Your Brother and your Dad aren't going to be a big help to you if they hate V6'*. My effective displacement with the blower is enough to keep pace with most V8'* out there.

Want backpressure back? Forget the resonator, quit listening to your brother, and listen to the experiences here.

We have the most success with a high flow Cat and a perfromance SINGLE muffler with one inlet and two outlets.

Copy PROVEN success. Ditch everything you've done and go back to that.

No car needs backpressure. They need highest CFM = highest scavenging and lowest backpressure therefore, the most power.

And a huge tail pipe doesn't give you better CFM necessarily.
