Exhaust / Muffler Mods
What are the standard exhaust modifications that one could apply to a 1992 Bonneville SSEi? I undertsand that a high flow cat is one. But what exactly makes a high flow cat, high flow? What are the different types of mufflers that one can get? What are the different sounds? Is it necessary to change the complete system or are the stock exhaust pipes adequate? Your help is appreciated.

Same question for my 98 SLE ... can my exhaust be modified without replacing the entire setup? I'd like to improve my engine'* effeciency and performance, but don't really want to drop several hundred dollars for a few HP... especially if I don't have to!
