The torque peak on 5.0 is a lower RPM peak like ours, and the gain isn't 1 ft/lb between them. And that'* on an engine that actually likes an open exhaust

I don't laugh at power increases, infact this thursday i'm finding out how much of a WHP/TQ different an intake pipe makes

Jason, do you know the EFFECTIVE displacement of my motor? It'* more than 5 liters. The numbers I posted would be even MORE In favor of the Magnaflow if it were calculated for my effective displacement.

For hp, Magnaflow beats Flowmaster.
For tq, Magnaflow beats Flowmaster.
For flow, Magnaflow beats Flowmaster.
For sound level (db) Magnaflow beats Flowmaster at WOT, equal at idle.

4 out of 4. Do you want performance, or do you want sound? Again, that'* the ultimate question. If you want sound, buy a fart cannon. If you want Performance, and your choices are Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and Dynomax, buy Magnaflow.

If you want something in between, flip a coin.

FYI folks looking for exhaust parts.....

Try and source out any part from PFYC locally before ordering it online.
I just ordered my Hedman tips (locally, 3 day delivery) for $70 Cdn... they are $57 USD online.

How large is the outlet on stock headers for an SSEi / GTP? Is it 2.5" or 3" ?

So if you wanted to do some real exhaust work on the L67, it would be best to get some TOG'* or SLP'* and have that 3" outlet, and from there, you could really open the exhaust up.

Yes stock is 2.5" but the original flex connector ID is only 2". After the resonator it reduces to 2 1/4" with twin 2" outlets..........should be larger IMO but I suppose it help low rpm torque.
My TOG header flex outlet is a true 3" size.
