That will not fit a bonneville.

Whatever pipe diameter you have (most likely 2.5") is what you need,

What if I want to keep my single exhaust on my '93 SE?...
Is there a Magnaflow muffler [F-body style or whatever] that would work for my 2 1/2" system?....All the ones I see talked about here are dual out [like the Magnaflow # 12265, for example]...Is there something similar, but single in/single out?.....
Is there such a huge gain to be had [ power wise] to pay the extra $ to split to a dual exhaust after the muffler on a non-SC '93 SE, or is it for looks primarily?...

Just for looks. It aint gonna make or break anything. But im not sure if they sell single outlets. I would say just get double exhaust, its still going to be loud, and it looks hell of a lot cooler.

Why are stainless Magnaflow Cats only $80 when OEM is $568?

Get a single in, single out muffler, anything will work just fine. Just as long as it'* a decent shape that fits under there, and isn't 3 feet long.

I am wanting to get headers. I hear the SLP'* are a pain to get in so I was thinking TOG, but I see the TOG'* are listed for 1998 and newer bonnies. Is there a real difference between a '97 like me and a '98 ? Also, is the extra $125 worth it for the coating?

I have a 1999 Silver Bonneville SE and I am looking at doing some mods to it. One mod would be with the exhaust. I'm not sure whether or not I want to just get tips or replace the muffler and pipe with a tip. Really depends on pricing (like, is it worth it to get a muffler and put a tip on the pipe). I don't want a really loud muffler, but just something to give it a non-stock sound. I have read through all the pages on here, but no one has posted anything for a 99 Bonneville.

So, I'll open it up to you guys. If you had my car and wanted to do something with the exhaust system, what parts would you get and where would you get them? I have gone to local muffler shops and people have given me mixed messages on what to get and what to do. But, people on these boards seem to really know how to add some awesome things to their Bonnies. Thanks!

These aren't 99'* but there'* plenty of information and ideas. Follow the exhaust links.

I think most members here have flowmaster 80'* or dynomax if they aren't stock.

Default dumb question

Ok, my dad'* freakin' because when he was a kid he put headers on his 302, and they fried his motor cause he didn't rejet it. I told him that the fuel injection will compensate, but I told him I'd ask. SOOO, will headers hurt my car? (Go and ahead and state the obvious, so I can say I told you so)
