Are any of these mufflers stainless steel? I hesitate to cut off my original muffler because it looks like it will last forever.
Next question, on a '92 with no resonator, can I expect a difference in sound when I cut out my old CAT and put in a high flow version? The '92 SC bonneville must have the largest CAT ever made, I think end to end it is almost 20 inches. I am looking at a random technology metal matrix version.
BTW, when welding stainless steel exhaust parts, the proper way to do it is with stainless steel wire but at least one very popular exhaust place around here just uses plain steel. So expect rust.

Geeze, that had to suck big time.....You can get a flowmaster 80 for your car, and whoever puts it on will fabricate you another tube to have dual outlets
