Engine/tranny mounts, series II mounts work in series I car?
Not exactly sure where to post this, but i think this will work. I have a '93 Olds 88, which should be the same thing platform wise as a Bonneville. It has a bad tranny in it, and instead of replacing the tranny, I have an extra 4t65e and all the parts to put together a supercharged 3800, I also have an extra wiring harness, pcm, fuse box, etc....., so I'm just going to swap in the Series II stuff. My question is, will the mounts all bolt in to the cradle and whatnot, or will i need to custom make some stuff? Or will the mounts from the Series I bolt onto the Series II (doubtful).
I'm not really expecting anyone to know the answer to this, but I'm hoping maybe someone can help me out.
Thanks.

We have all kinds of knowledge. The car in question has the TA mount or provisions for it correct? If so you should be on easy street. Overall the subframe didn't change for 100 years. You can put a 97 drivetrain into a 90 bonneville and when you look at the 97 Bonne there are provisions for the old LN3 (87-91) motor mount under the AC compressor.
