There are only 2 FWD Bonnevilles faster then 12.99. Granted they are both S2 but 1 is extensivly modded probably to the tune of over 20 thousand dollars in just eingine/trans mods. The other is mine which has had some significant work done in around the 5 grand range. If you think your going to go fast in a Bonneville with just an S2 swap you need to think again.
2 grand for S2 swap, you will want an HD trans so another grand there, THEN you get to start modding.

He'* got a HD trans though. The 4t60 was even upgraded in 95. and that bodystyle has a few MINOR things in it'* favor like better weight transfer and lower overall weight. Just droppin the motor in will shave off 100 lbs.
I'm not saying it'* gonna take 2,3 or even 4 grand to get into the 12'* but there are some advantages
