boost
Hi folks I presently have the intense stage 1 setup (3.40 pully) on my 00 ssei and I was thinking of getting a smaller pully for a little more boost but Im not shore my stock exhaust can handle it. any info will be helpfull. I dynoed only 211 whp that sucks.

Your exhaust will be fine except possibly your catalytic converter, I believe the 2000'* had issues with them. Before you even contemplate a smaller pulley you need to scan for knock retard. KR will make you lose power due to the timing being pulled.
211hp? I presume that'* at the wheels which is close to ballpark when you figure in drivetrain loss.

I am guessing you meant level 1. you will need rockers or cam and pems/headers to be able to move to a 3.2. I get kr with a 3.2 and I have level 2 with pems and high flow cat.

211 is a little low, we usually see about 220-222 whp with the level 1 package. What was the correction factor? What kind of dyno? Was the car hot? Dyno Brian tells me that your heavy *** 22'* will cause the dyno to read lower as well as the dynos are inertia based.

Get a scan tool. More boost=more cylinder pressure, which leads to dreaded knock--which you can't always hear. Plus since you're adding more air, you need to know what your O2 readings are to make sure the engine is getting enough fuel (burning lean is as bad as knock). Not to mention all the other cool stuff you can find out with a scan tool, like TPS, IAC, MAF, etc.

You need to find out why it is running rich.
More air will be seen by the MAF and the PCM will just add more fuel. Net result; you are still running rich.
A good scan tool is well worth the investment when you start modding.
MAF, O2 and, injector dutycycle will help sort out why you are running rich.
