Default Dyno'd my car today...

I've been wanting to dyno my car for awhile, finally got the opportunity today. Learned quite a bit too. Did 4 pulls, 2 with the 3.2" pulley, second 2 with the 3.4" pulley.

First two pulls with the 3.2
hp tq
#1 231.1 239.4
#2 221.2 259.9

second pulls with the 3.4

#3 230.9 279.5
#4 232.4 307.4

Ambient air temp was about 53 degrees, intake air temp was 103, I think I got some heat soaking. But KR really killed my torque, I gained a lot back when I switched to the 3.4. Interesting....

you gained from my guess because you reduced the operation temp and may have reduced KR from less boost

What octane fuel did you have?
Do you have the rockers installed yet?
Did you have the car in 2nd gear for the dyno pull?

The added boost was giving you kr and pulling timing in the first run, did you get any other data? O2 readings, boost levels, maf etc.

Looks like that 3.2" is alittle to much with all the KR it'* gotta be producing.

No rockers yet, I'm gonna go down to Bill'* in April and install them there. Car was in third, it hit about 155, and the front tire was starting to look like a stop sign because of the distortion. No, I didn't get any other data other than the KR. Pdad, where'd you get your DHP from? Anybody got a cheap laptop?

You need 1.9'* to run a 3.2" thats why all the kr. I run a 3.3" with 1.9'* and can see some (1 or2*) kr when running 91 octane as opposed to seeing no kr and running 94 octane.
And you want to pull in 2nd gear for a good read, do a search on dyno pulls for some tips from rogue and others.

I got my power tuner from 3800 performance but wbody store also sells them.

Ditto. If you had rockers you would mostlikely be able to run a 3.2 with no problems. But since you have stock cam and stock rockers, the engine just can't flow enough for a 3.2" pulley. A 3.3 MIGHT be okay, but I wouldn't even be too sure about that. Get some rockers and a 3.2 shouldn't be a problem. (but still scan to make sure) Keep in mind a scan tool is your best friend.
