Sorry man! I didnt read that it was your first time drag racing. Not trying to bash you or anything. If your car is stock than that is damn fast! That will beat my bro'* merc. capri! I wish mine was supercharged! What I didnt get was if your car is an auto...Why arent the times consistent? and again...Good job!

what does reaction time have to do with ET? he could sit on the line for 3 weeks if he wanted to, the clock don't start until you break the line. His car in inconsistent because it is a stock sedan, he was hot lapping it, well, there are probably 50 different things that would cause inconsistent ET'* on one of these cars.

Widerman is right, your reation time is subtracted from your ET. So yea, you could spend all day at the line, and wouldn't affect your time in the end.

My first time was bad because I had no idea how it was gonna behave on the track, expecially since that lane was fresh when I used it.

Yea, thing is dead stock.

Coming up: intake & chip! (I wanna break 15 bad!)

After a couple more days running my reaction time should become much more consistant, but all said those were very good for my first time. My worst one was .832, people who were skilled at this were breaking 1 sec consistantly.

So what amount of time between would you say is more appropriate?

The first couple were real close together because the "fun'o'meter" was extremely high at the time.

The whole day the engine temp never went more than a hair over 90C.

Hey give me some tips on how u drove off the line acid..cuz i know that prob makes a big difference in your time also. That'* the only thing im afraid of doing wrong if i went to the track. Light goes green....i dont go anywhere cuz my tires are spinnin', haha.

I suppose that just comes with experience, which i don't have.

those are pretty nice reaction times, GREAT JOB

as for ur future plans, i think you need intake, exhaust, and 180 thermostat before the chip. is the chip you plan on getting burned especially for your car or just a generic??

Congrats on the times man. Your car is quicker then I thought. One or 2 small mods and you'll be in the 14'*! That'* pretty impressive for a full size sedan if u ask me. We'll have to see if there is any interest in having an Ont meet at the track sometime this year. I'm just trying to get into the 15'* let alone the 14'*.

Thanks, as for the chips, that'll prolly be a while, but I have no knowledge regarding the price difference or the performance enhancement abilities of going either way. So I have no clue which one right now.

Any suggestions?
