What size rim do you have? Are you wanting the same hieght or maybe a shorter tire?

Sorry I should have asked for the width also. Do you know what it is? I'm guessing between 7-8 inchs.

I had some promising results last October with a set of Nitto drag radials mounted on 16" GTP torque star wheels. I only got a chance to get 4 passes on them....but I never broke loose off the line.

Here'* the link:

I'm not sure of the size, but I can find out next time I'm in the garage.

Found those, Nitto drag radial 555R , look like what silverbullet is using?

Available in 245/50 R16

They are for 7- 8.5 inch wide rims.

Should fit my rims?

edit: here to purchase: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...33&rd=16&ar=50

...interresting

Mine are Mickey Thompson 255 50 R 16 ET Street Drag radials on 7" wide wheels. Perfect, just like the 255 50 R 17'*.
They are a little smaller in diameter but that will give you a very slight reduction in effective gear ratio for better acceleration.

im curious to see if it can go under 2 sec. for the 60 foot?

edit: Is mickey thompson better than Nitto 555R? and do you have a link where i can order the same tire you have?
