DP MSD coils
Ty, your site suggests getting the coil interface modules to use the MSD coils. Will they affect function in anyway if I do not plan on getting an MSD ignition and just use the coils without the modules?

As far as I have been told it is an option not necessary to make them work.
I only know one way to do them personally but I tend to go the easy rout. They can be wired either way. I feel they are better because they make it possible to make the coils work with the stock mounting plate.
I will get you a MSD official response.

For the full system to work MSD says all gm vehicles need the adapters.
Just to add some more fun for track only guys there is a ho option of the Dis 4 and it can use the regular coils but they also have a higher output coil to go with the system. Once again it is not for street use and you would not need it without extreme modifications.
