Think about your MAF screen. It'* there to straighten out the airflow so the MAF sensor can get an accurate reading. So why would you want to INDUCE turbulence?

If you do a CAI pipe, is it harder for the engine to warm up in cold weather? I used to flip the air cleaner lid on my 4.3 S10 to make it like an open element filter, but only in the summer.
