Compression was different, but as long as you didn't run high boost levels, you'd be ok. Turtle would be a good one to check in here. He'* running a bigass turbo now.

I read an article in Hot Rod Magazine a few days ago about tuning custom multipoint fuel injection systems. It really seems a lot easier then I thought. I will look up the issue number while I am at work monday and post it here.
I think you could reuse the turbo hardware from a GN and mate it to a custom fuel injection set up. Get a sheet metal intake made up to finish it off. Would not be cheap but would be fast.

Me and Will have been missing each other for a while now but I'll just post what I've found out. No price yet but Comp Cams said they'll grind a custom cam designed for a Buick motor for the Series I. The cam is: 81h00009 and the specs are:
210 intake 202 exhuast 432 intake 416 exhaust. Other than that I haven't found a single place that carries one in stock designed specifically for the Series I. If you know everything about the engine, to include the engineers mothers maiden name, you can fill out a form on Crane Cams webpage and they'll suggest a cam for you. I'd figure a form of the Buick cam they're using for me can be just slapped into it...maybe eh? I'll ask more questions when the tech guy calls back with a price. Oh and do a forum search and put DrJay in the author. Check out my performance rebuild I'll post more about the cam there.

I called a few companies awhile back and a good quality billet cam is going to be around 2000.00. You can get a cheaper deal I am sure but the racing company I talked with made custom cams for the GN turbo 3.8.
