track temps at 125???
you both know the newer ones have a ton more torque managment than the old ones, which is why the stock gtp'*/gs'* are much faster than the stock ssei'* (97+'*) also being about 150-200lbs lighter (not a huge amount)
why dont you compare your 93 ssei to a 2000+ there even heavier, more computer limited power, and even slower...lol
i still dont see how you say "no gtp can keep up with me off the line" when with the smallest amount of bolt on'* give them more torque "off the line" than they can even use!!!
whatever helps you sleep at night

If you read my post above, I was a little more specific than the words you used.
Again, the point we're trying to make is that there isn't that much difference between the Series1 and Series 2 as is widely believed. They're ALOT closer in performance than you're giving credit for.

well i believe you there, this "205hp" ssei is alot faster than any 205hp car ive driven, albiet it has 260ft lbs of torque, it defenatly has more grunt than my old 250hp/260tq aurora. even though that had the 3.71 gearing and litely modded, it didn't have much power off the line, but it pulled on the highway pretty well.
i just love the series 2 because of its aftermarket

Gotcha there, too. The Aftermarket for the Series 1 is only missing ONE thing. An intercooler. All other aftermarket items are available for Series 1, in many cases, cheaper than the equivalent Series 2 part.
