Its a car ZZP and Stattama did for some one that wanted to do something different. First time out at the track it had the 2nd highest trap speeds only below the Intense turbo car. That was with no weight mods, two spare tires, tool box, and on street tires.

So it'* possible then? I think running the remotely mounted turbo would save the money of having headers fabricated for the turbo, and a buddy of mine could do the tubing part....Anybody think this is a bad idea? How much boost can the stock internals take?

i think a under hoot wurbo would be your best bet.....i think that the remote turbo is a good idea, and make the same power, but not best suited for our cars, ther STS is designed for tight under hood applications such as the F body

The STS isn't nearly as efficient as a normal turbo system. Y ou lose some heat expansion in the exhaust, it'* a lot of weight in piping, and oil systems.
I wouldn't want to mess with a SC T car personally. A turbo or twin turbo setup is just fine for me
