There is a chance the flange is warped. If you do a seafoam you will see smoke coming out of any leaks.

Before worrying about the flange, look for the leak. Then deal with that.

yeah i know haha, ill post up more info tomorrow once the seafoam goes through it. also dont you have to run the car for like 100 miles after u seafoam it?

well as i suspected seafoaming didnt make my car smoke one bit, since the engine is so new

Already used that. It'* not valve tap I don't think. It'* a leak from somewhere I don't know where

the leak is actually a vacuum coming from the egr tube to the header. the tube is actually split and has a hole in it, i covered the hole with hvac tape just to test if that was it and sure enough it was, so junkyard tomorrow hopefully!
