I Need To Know What TCC engagement speed to request for the tranny. And Part Throttle Mph Shift Points Range. Also Full Throttle Shift Rpm. I Am At Total Loss. I Want To Drag Race At WCBF07

TCC engagement should be 48mph on all cars. Stock and modified, unless you want to get crappy mileage when cruising.

Part throttle shift points? If you're going for performance changes, why are you interested in changing part throttle shifts? WOT shifts should be your major concern, and the fueling to support those shifts. WOT shifts should be based on dyno results. Without knowing where your HP and Torque peaks are, you have no way of knowing what shift points you need at WOT.

You also don't need a performance chip to race at WCBF 07. We bracket race. All cars are handicapped to make them equal. It'* driver against driver.

Thank You. Great Ill Request Stock For Part Throttle SPs and Ill Request 4k As WOT SP rpm as that is about where my power band flattens. The Dealer Who Did The Rebuild Has Mostly Choked Off All The Performance Via Prmg. I Have Been Planning For This Improvement For Some Time. Have I Missed The Boat On The Invite To Turn A Wrench Or Two In Curvy Alice?

Your dealer didn't choke off any programming. They don't do that, nor do dealers have the capability.

Nobody with a 94 L27 has ever had a custom chip burned, and every car varies. Frankly, doing a Performance chip with minimal or no mods isn't going to get you much out of an L27. The chip should come later after other power-adding mods. Besides, without a dyno pull or 2 including wideband O2 readings, you have no idea how to adjust the fueling maps for the new shift points. This is the problem with 'custom' chips. Performance PCM'* for other applications are based on dyno/O2 work, and multiple cars to find a good common set of parameters.

You have the unfortunate luck to have:

94/95 Hybrid PCM
L27 (most people provide chips for the supercharged engines)
An older car, so that some chips that were available at one time are no longer sold

I would suggest sticking with the stock programming until you do something to the car like a cam, rockers, or other power-adder. You're just not going to get more than 5-10 horsepower out of a chip at this point, and that'* assuming you hit all your numbers correctly. Most custom PCM'* take several attempts to get it dialed in. At the very least, you need a scantool, and SHOULD have dyno time and a wideband O2.

Dealer Did Choke Off Performance. Top Speed Is Way Low And The Rev Limiter Too. I Know Other Things Need Doing. The Service Allows Multiple Re Does At A Very Low Cost In Fact Its All Low Cost. Lower Even A Kn Cai. And There Was An Orignal ? Up Front Tn Exclude Scan Data. Further I Have All Required Information Now. So Thanks I Guest ;) :D

Cap Letters On Every Word Is Fixed Format For This Cell Phone. Go Figure? And Though I Have No Proof, I Know The Top Sqeed Is Limited To 105 Mph @ A Low Rpm And I Had To Twist The Rebuild Out Of Them For Zero Money. I Guess They Knew I Wouldnt Take It To Them.

All non-supercharged L27'* are limited by the FACTORY at 105mph. It'* because of the rating on the tires the car shipped from the factory with.

The dealer didn't flash your PCM.

I would hold off on the chip burn for the time being until you get the car checked out, then on a dyno. You're as likely to hurt performance (or the car itself) as you are to gain performance, and the 50% chance of a gain in performance will only be 5-10 horsepower at this point.
