I've heard that the low end loss with the *&* headers is not bad at all, they arent nearly as big as the SLP or TOG'*. TOG'* on a stock N/A would be bad. The PEM'* add a nice bit of gain in the upper RPM'*, enough that I remcommed doing those over any other exhaust work.

TOG'* on a stock L67 gain 16ft.lbs of torque at the wheels. Obviously, this is peak torque, but and probably do lose low-end, but it isn't much. You won't notice the torque gain I would imagine. However, for an L36 or mildly modded L67, *&* headers are probably the way to go if you don't mind mediocre quality. Zooomer did a write-up on headers on ClubGP like a year ago, it might not be a bad idea to take a look..
