Drilled out TB
Seems too simple not to have been thought of but ever notice how much space in the TB the MAF sensor assembly takes up? What about a MAF sensor relocation into the hose and drilling that whole assembly out of the TB..hmmm

i really think that would work without a new throttle plate. but you will have to close the hole where the maf goes into. also it will need like an *-10 4.3 vortec maf sensor that goes inline with the intake tube along with a mini afc to calibrate it to work with our pcm. zzp does that with the LS1 tb conversion they offer, they use the LS1 maf along with the mini afc. it is defintly a worthy prospect to try

Just incase anyone was curious I found out some info on this. I can use a MAF sensor from a 99 camaro but I would need a custom PCM burn. I found a company that does the burn for a pricey $435. Doubt that'll be something I do tomorrow but I'll add it to my wish list.

Careful. He'* bigger than you. Take rum. He'll be your bud.
The MAF idea has been on his 'list' for about 6 months. It'* a matter of priorities, but I believe he'* been sucessful already. It'* just a matter of getting it marketable (or kit-able).

Hahaha I'll be sure to bring a couple flavors....My figuring is the research would be a B but the setup might be easier than a custom pcm. Figure get a newer MAF sensor and mount it in the intake hose, use the mini-afc to calibrate it and bada bing. Probably not THAT easy but the basic idea is there. Wonder what setup he'* working on

the MAF from the 96-current chev. *-10 4.3 vortech will work great for this.it goes in the intake tube almost like the ford mustang does. the mini afc will work wonders for this app. the hardest part will be to mill out the MAF material out of the TB.
