muffler L36 Vs L67
like to know if the muffler an exhaust system is the same for a L36 and L67 for the same years bonneville regal or any other that offer the 2 engine in the same car same years

Ok, it depends.
Early SSE'* it'* the same, or SLE'* in the newer cars.
SE'* are different. So the answer is SOME L36'* got the same MUFFLER setup, but had .25" smaller exhaust piping.

thanks will tomorow im replacing the stock 2 1/4 muffler for a 2 1/2 pipe and dyno max turbo more for sound than performance but it may help a bit

From our experience, you won't be outflowing the muffler until you're in the 12-13 second range on the 1/4. Sound will change, but not performance. The only 'bulge' in the stock exhaust that MAY effect felt performance is the cat.
