im looking for some new exhaust components and wondering which part numbers to look for.. 1. high flow magnaflow cat. 2. muffler single in dual out. 3 tips . if anyone with a 96 setup that knows part numbers would be great also looking for the deepest sound possible .. not doing this until the stimulus check comes so I am trying to figure it all out in advance and to get some feedback on others' setups

I think a magnaflow setup gives the deepest/best sound with these motors, but that comes down to personal preference. PN 94006 is the 2.5in/2.5out cat I used to run...regular finish, no O2 bung, it'* a cheap one. The F-body style mufflers fit these cars perfectly...PN 12266 for the 2.5in/dual 2.25out with the aluminized finish or 14266 for stainless. Any tip with a 2.25 inlet will work. There are a few threads floating around the forum that you can check out for ideas.

Taylor, your exhaust setup is identical to all 92-99 SSEi'*. 96-99 will have the added rear O2 bung after the cat.

Shoulda had you climb under the Zilla when you were here. You can get the cat with the bung, or you can have a bung put in. Any exhaust shop will do it for very little cost.

Sorry.

The BungHOLIO should be right behind the cat. Take a look and see if it'll stay in the pipe, or be replaced with the cat. That'* what will narrow your cat choice down.
