My intake temps are constant - always 5+/- degrees from the outside temps even in stop and go traffic and idling for long time periods. In my setup I can't justify moving the IAT about a foot to inside the box and/or in the filter just to lower my intake temp by 5+/- degrees.
I've been in 90-100 degree temps and still wasn't getting KR and had full timing? What would I gain by the IAT reading a lower temp it I already have full timing?

Sitting in traffic I see pretty good temps too...I'd tell you what they were....but it'* a guessing game. I'd say probably around 205-210.
