Default bypass circuit board???

this may be a silly question but is there any way to bypass the printed circuit board on the instrument cluster using the wires from the clips going straight to the gauges the fuel gauge specifically i think the purple wire comes from the sending unit can it be plugged in the gauge directly and grounded without the board???? its a 1994 ssei 13?000 mi

Might be a seperate wire at the connector behind the dash. Actually with all the wiring we have back there, I'm pretty sure it is. You'd want to get the specs on full/empty to ensure yoru new gauge can properly do it'* job.

Although I've yet to see a dash go bad like that. You could also swap out the little motor thingee that moves teh needle.
