Good luck Paul on hitting your goal next year on a stock cam. That will be a great achievement. (I've officially decided to demoding my SSEi next month. I will not have the time next year to monkey with the car.)
Just curious...why are you running a breather? That will affect your tuning efforts because of the unmetered air entering the engine.
Are you planning on upgrading your TB to a N*?

Interesting observation upon removal of the SC.
Last year when I removed the Gen3, the PVC system dumped a few oz of oil onto the LIM but the inside of the LIM was clean as a whistle, from being cleaned mostly by my water/meth injection.
This year when I removed the Gen5, there was a film of oil inside the LIM and small puddling in the SC inlet by where the new PVC hose connects to.
It'* a real oil sucker

Ya it is kinda funny the idea of spraying water into the intake but it'* not a power adder in effect.
Unlike NOS.
Water injection just allows adding more pressure and timing without KR by cooling the compressed air and LIM..........and it'* a lot less expensive and far less dangerous than NOS.
I know it works because I used it the last couple years and was able to run with a 2.9" pulley on a Gen3 with no kr and posted a 13.5 @ 103 mph........with a stock cam. :P
This year it didn't work well the way I had changed it to suit the new Gen5 with a 3.2" pulley. I changed the nozzle but think it'* too small.
So will go bigger and make further improvements to the system.
and I won't forget the plug the future Nitrous injection hole

So just what does this unmetered air do :?:
My A/F readings show me running very rich, even at WOT, so please explain your concern. :?
I have plans to have plans but ...with this car, as with all of my cars, I like to take it slow and easy with the mods.
Just a few a year. That'* one of the reasons that I have been able to keep up my enthusiasm and longterm ownership of each of them. I still have every new vehicle I have ever bought, the last 30 years
Develop a love and then just can't part with them. Some are like a time machine that brings back the good ol days.
So maybe next year will bring some more mods................maybe not.
I might sell it for a G8 GT.
Tommy, be careful.
Thirty years from now when you're a rich old guy looking to relive his younger racier days, you will be at the Barret Jackson auction looking for a 2000SSEi and I bet you'll pay big for it then.

The only reason I am resisting the evil temptation of injecting NOX, as in noxious , is that I know I would just have to use it all the time , then when I ran out or couldn't afford the extra $100 every week to fill up, I would be horribly dissasified with my Bonne and would probably sell it.
I'd much rather improve the drivetrain little at a time and save the coupe de grace till the bitter end.

I think it'* safe to say that everyone would love to run NOS... it would be an adicting thrill that would make normal non-NOS driving boring. I wouldn't compare timeslips driving with NOS vs driving without it - It'* apples to oranges in my book and not what this thread is about.

Paul, I'd suggest checking that WI nozzle for spray. It might be clogged if the LIM isn't clean. That'* a sure sign something is wrong. My LIM and SC were always brand-new spotless when I was running the injection.
The Nitrous debate won't happen here. People have their views on both sides of the fence, but Paul'* topic isn't the place for that kind of sortof-unfriendly debate.
