No you won't. No adjustments or PCM resets are necessary. Shield it from heat and get your IAT as close to the filter as possible. Preferably in it.

Hey there Lucas,

I built a similar system for my 94 SE (Naturally Asperated). I used an intake pipe from Autozone (Part Number 8219), and the K&N RX-4750 filter.

You'll ned to cut about 3 inches off the end of the pipe to get it to fit comfortably, plus you'lll need to bore out the iat sensor hole inside the filter. Its really important that you put the IAT sensor in the filter and not in the pipe. Also, the support that the kit provides for the pipe is a bit flimsy and I wound up replacing it with a larger L bracket from Home Depot.

As for a heat shield (The plexiglass thing). A number of different designs were used. Personally, I made mine out of a sheet of lexan and covered it and the entire intake pipe up to the throttle body.

Hope that helps!

More than that really. Mine isn't totally sealed, because I have a ram-air feed from below preventing engine bay heat from reaching the filter. Without that, you want it totally sealed from the engine, open only to the back of the headlight and fender. Do not ATTACH it to those locations, as the thing moves somewhat.

Not as bad as this, but you get the idea:

mine almost shakes that bad and i think that i am going to take three inches off the pipe and make a box of sheet metal and paint it black and only make it were it is open to the fender and the head light but make it to were it can move but i dont think mine shakes as bad as yours cause it isnt supercharged but i am going to save that media player film so i have a reminder when installing the air system then that way i wont break anything thanks willwren
